It has been reported from Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Colombia, Costa Rica, French Guiana, Guyana, Honduras, southern Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Suriname, Venezuela, and the United States
