Cyperus flavicomus Michx.. Cyperus odoratus is a species of flowering plant in the sedge family Cyperaceae. It is known by the common names fragrant flatsedge and rusty flatsedge. It has a pantropical distribution that extends into the temperate regions of North and South America. The species is quite variable and may in fact be more than one species included under a single name.
