Fimbristylis castanea (Michx.) Vahl. Fimbristylis spadicea, commonly known as marsh fimbry or saltmarsh fimbristylis, is a perennial sedge of the family Cyperaceae. It is native to the coastal Americas from New York and northwestern Mexico to northeastern Argentina and Peru.
